Nancy LaCasse

Nancy LaCasse is Associate Vice President of School Services of California, Inc., (SSC). Nancy serves as the liaison between the State Capitol and school districts and county offices of education throughout California on legislative issues and trends affecting K-14 education. She provides legislative advocacy services on behalf of SSC legislative clients, including major statewide education organizations and coalitions, and regularly consults with individual school districts and county offices of education on State Budget and legislative issues. She has been at the forefront on statewide efforts to increase funding for special education and other statewide education programs.

With SSC since 1982, Nancy has experience in several of the firm’s divisions. She is the author of Impacting the Legislative Process: A Practical Guide for Public Education Representatives and is a regular contributor and presenter at SSC’s annual School Finance and Management conference.
