We are very pleased to announce the
release of updated User-Friendly Budget Displays (UFB) software Version 7.1.
With the continuing assistance of the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance
Team (FCMAT), the newest User-Friendly Budget software is now available—at no
charge—to use in the development and display of school district budgets.
The software was developed to help
districts describe and display revenues and expenditure elements in a format
that is more understandable by the governing board and the local community. The
UFB software creates complete "drop-in" pages with district-specific graphs and
tables, and includes appendices for use by the local agency. More than 500 pages
of samples of school district budgets are provided for evaluation by districts
that would like to develop their own displays.
