Appointment to The Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education. Governor Wilson has announced the appointment of Phillip G. Bardos to the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education. Mr. Bardos served on the California Community College Board of Governors from 1989 to 1994.

The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) is a public interstate agency that operates under the Western Regional Education Compact adopted by 13 western states. Guided by the Compact, the mission of WICHE is to help the member states work together to provide high quality, cost-effective higher education programs that meet the workforce needs of the states and the education needs of their citizens.
