Governor Appoints Community College Employee to Board of Governors. Governor Davis has made another appointment to the California Community College Board of Governors (BOG). Selecting a community college employee, he appointed Leslie Wang, a media specialist for the San Joaquin Delta Community College, a position she has held since 1980. Ms. Lang has helped to expand the distance learning services at the college and serves as chair of the Community College Committee of the California School Employees Association (CSEA).

The appointment of Ms. Wang brings to two the appointments the Governor has made to the Board in recent months. In January 2000 three more Board member terms will be expiring, thus providing the Governor with the opportunity for additional appointments.
