Congratulations Are in Order. Carolyn Widener, an English professor at West Los Angeles College and past Chair of the Teachers' Retirement Board, has been elected to fill the community college seat on the Teachers’ Retirement Board. Widener, who is currently serving as the Chair of the Benefits and Services Committee, will serve a four-year term that begins January 1, 2008.
