Schools Excess Liability Fund (SELF) Offers Risk Management Workshops in October. In a continuing effort to assist school agencies to keep down the cost of litigation, SELF is offering its annual Good Schools Workshops. This year’s topics will focus on employment practices, liability, and training barriers. There are four locations to choose from and you can register online to attend October 21 and 22 in Northern California or October 28 and 29 in Southern California. The workshops are free to all current SELF members and $25 for nonmembers. SELF encourages you to sign up quickly since space will be limited due to the online demonstration that is part of the program.
