Maureen DiMarco Announces She Will Join Riverside Publishing as Vice President. Maureen DiMarco, former Secretary of Child Development and Education, has announced that she is joining Riverside Publishing Company, a subsidiary of Houghton Mifflin, as Vice President for Education and Governmental Relations with special responsibilities in the areas of school assessments.

Riverside Publishing is well known for its Iowa Tests of Basic Skills and the Iowa Tests of Educational Development. Riverside provides a broad array of performance assessments as well as a comprehensive K-12 assessment program.

Maureen's responsibilities will cover the country &emdash; and the world. Riverside has offices in Chicago and Iowa, as well as in Boston and London. We understand Maureen will maintain residence in Sacramento until location of her primary office has been identified by her new employers.

School Services of California wishes Maureen the very best in her new responsibilities and especially offers its congratulations on what we know will be exceptional service to our nation's educational publishing industry.
