Achievement Collaborative Workshop - Getting Ahead of the Data: Being Proactive, Not Reactive

The Achievement Collaborative invites you to attend a complimentary workshop on Monday, August 10 from 9:00 AM to noon at the Quiet Cannon, Montebello.  Registration begins at 8:30.  Although the workshop is complimentary, space is limited and pre registration is required.

About the Workshop

Each August the California Department of Education releases the Standardized Testing and Reporting results from the prior spring.  This year well over 100 additional local education agencies (LEAs) are expected to join those already in Program Improvement and other LEAs will be moving a step closer to that status.   STAR results are one of many sets of data that taken in conjunction with tough budget times make the next months critical to planning, communicating, and acting to protect the fiscal solvency and academic achievement of your LEA.

The workshop includes several sessions offering concrete strategies for analyzing, communicating and implementing changes based on the newly available data.  The target audience for this workshop is district superintendents, cabinet members, and school board members.

This workshop brings together the instructional expertise of Dave Long and Associates, the excellent governance support of the California School Boards Association and the fiscal advice you count on from School Services to help you navigate the coming months.
