Associate Superintendent—Human Resources
ABOUT THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Associate Superintendent—Human Resources (HR) provides strategic leadership and oversight of all aspects of HR. This executive-level role is responsible for developing and executing equitable HR systems that support Antioch Unified School District’s (District) mission and priorities, with a focus on recruiting and retaining high-quality staff, advancing talent development, improving instruction through strong workforce support, and fostering a culture of professional growth. The District is comprised of 13 elementary schools, a K-8 school, 4 middle schools, 3 high schools, and 8 alternate education schools with approximately 15,527 students enrolled.
The District has a General Fund budget of $330 million and is also supported by a bond.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree; graduate study work in HR, public administration, or related field is preferred
Five years of increasingly responsible HR experience, including work with certificated personnel functions and labor negotiations
Three years in an administrative capacity at the K-12 level
Valid administrative services credential
SALARY
The salary range for this position is $265,795 to $300,722. In addition to this salary, a generous benefits package is offered. Additional earnings include an annual educational stipend.
