ABOUT THE POSITION
Under policy direction, the Associate Superintendent of Strategic Operations and School Support provides key executive leadership, providing integrated oversight of the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) juvenile court schools and all internal business operational functions, including facilities and construction and the controller’s office, which includes procurement, transportation, warehouse, and other administrative services. LACOE has a General Fund budget of $734 million.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Five years of executive leadership experience in public education agency operations.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, business administration, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of the classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
SALARY
The salary range for this senior management position is $240,408 to $297,828. In addition to this salary, a generous benefits package is offered.
