Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources plans, organizes, and directs all District-wide Human Resources functions for classified and certificated employees. This position provides strategic leadership in employee relations, labor negotiations, recruitment and retention, classification and compensation, credentialing, staff development, risk management, Workers’ Compensation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations while serving as a member of the Superintendent’s Executive Cabinet and supervise and evaluate assigned personnel.
